What is your why?
My short term why is to educate about the dangers of products that are being used in the household now.
Tell us a little about your family.
I am married and have been for 41 years. I have 3 grown kids and 8 grandkids.
How do you prioritize family and your business?
Family always comes first. The nice thing about my business is that I can work it around everything else that is going on in my life.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
5 years from now, I plan to have all of my debts paid off and being able to travel and take vacations.
What keeps you motivated?
Any little success. It could be as little as my grandson saying “Hey Nana that oil really did what you said it would do.”
Biggest life lesson learned?
My biggest life lesson learned is that you cannot take things personally. To do so creates a lot of blame or burden on yourself that does not need to be there.
Biggest lesson you’ve learned in business?
Make sure that you follow through. Failure to follow through, no matter how small equals lost business.
What is your secret to success?
Always act as if you are successful. Fake it until you make it.
All entrepreneurs encounter bad days. How do you handle yours?
By remembering that today is today and tomorrow is a fresh start to a new day.
What was your sweetest success story?
My best success story was from my granddaughter who was in a car accident a couple of years ago and has been having pain in her neck and shoulders. I rubbed in 3 different oils on her. A few days later she came to me and told me that the oils did not seem to work at first, but a little while later she said that the pain was gone and it has not come back as severe as before.
How do you relax?
I relax by playing video games and reading.

What are your favorite business tools? What business apps, products and tools do you use daily to run your business/life efficiently? What could you not function without?
Facebook, my calendar as well as two apps having to do with essential oils.
Any advice you have for other women who want to start their own business?
Just do it. Don’t make excuses why you can’t it will hold you back. However if you take action and just no matter how small you will be amazed how in no time at all you have grown.
